Independence Day..
Today is Independence day.. for my country, Indonesia.
Until this time, I have not understod the meaning of independece day yet.
I just follow independence-day-ceremony in Elementary school, Junior and Senior high school, and the last in university. But, in my mind, really did'n understand the purpose of it..
I just know, that every Independence day there are ceremony, carnavals, and many traditional competitions. They held for celebrate the independence day.

Independence day. When i was a little kid, i got excited about the day. I remember my neighborhood turns its colors from plain brick colors to a merry red and white.All the men were cleaning up the neighborhood so that we could win the cleanest the neighborhood title and the wives were choosing the most unique design for tumpeng. And of course the kids preparing themselves for many competition from eating chips, pinang tree climbing, or practicing dance and singing for the big night where all the people came together in a big field to watch the winners got awarded. Dont u miss those days?
WAH, mbak dipa ini seneng 17-an ya? Kalo saya sih, really don't miss he..he..seneng, ga perlu upacara. Peduli amat dengan 17-an :p

tiap orang memiliki apresiasi yang berbeda dalam 17-an.
Kalo saya seh sama ama Mbak Elok. Dari jaman SMP, paling males kalo disuruh upacara bendera. Kayakya cuman buang-buang waktu dan energi.
